Ham and Swiss Casserole

This is yet another Gooseberry patch country quick cook recipe - yeah, i know, but I told you menu planning wasn't my greatest organizational skill. Besides, these are all quick cooks and I am busy this week. The family is lucky it's not cereal. I am serving it with fresh steamed broccoli.

8 oz sour cream
12 oz package shredded swiss cheese; divided
8 oz package macaroni, cooked
3 cups cooked ham, chopped

In a small bowl combine sour cream and 3/4 of cheese together. In a lightly greased 13 x 9 baking dish, place macaroni and ham. Add sour cream mixture to baking dish; stir until blended. Top with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. makes 6 to eight servings.

Geesh. This cookbook uses no seasonings. Please season to taste, I will.

FAMILY RATING: This went over surprisingly well with brother (the six year old) I was a bit shocked that he would even eat it...he liked the ham better than the noodles but he ate, none the less. Sissy (14) didn't like it as much but she isn't much of a cheesy noodle person. The husband had two servings. I would make it again, but I don't think I would keep the items on hand to make it. It was missing a little something?
