Blonde Brownies

This is a recipe that I found in a church cookbook from a church I use to attend in Texas, I've been making them for about 14 years. They are light and tender.
Blonde Brownies

2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Walnuts or Pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9" X 13" pan

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

Melt butter, remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until combined.

Stir dry ingredients and walnuts into sugar mixture. Spread in pan.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Cut into bars while still warm.
